BacterGen F is a microbial culture specifically designed for establishing and maintaining freshwater aquariums.
It is a breakthrough product that rapidly establishes nitrifying biological filtration in new aquariums, greatly reducing the time it takes to cycle the system.
BacterGen F also improves the aquarium environment by delivering bacteria to digest leftover food, decaying organic material and detritus, providing a cleaner environment for your aquarium inhabitants.

Competing products may increase the production of toxic hydrogen sulfide in the system, BacterGen F is non-sulphur fixing and will reduce it to near zero.

You can use BacterGen F in both new and established aquariums.

Aquarium systems accumulate waste from uneaten food, faeces, and other organic material.
Over time, this accumulation lowers water quality, releases toxic gases into the water, and creates sludge on the bottom.
BacterGen F, will rapidly increase the population of beneficial microorganisms, resulting in an increase in water clarity, reduction of organic matter, and a decrease in undesirable nutrients, particularly ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and phosphate.

How to use:

1. Place 1 cup (250 ml) of aquarium water into a container.
2. Shake the BacterGen F bottle well.
3. Add the recommended amount of BacterGen F to the container of aquarium water.
4. Stir and allow to stand for a few minutes.
5. Pour the mixture into your aquarium in desired location.

It is usually best to add to biological filtration material, if this is possible or in a low flow area that will lead directly to the biological filter, but do not add directly to a pump intake.
In new setups, soak new biological filtration material in BacterGen F for an hour, and then add what is left of the soak to the system.

You can use BacterGen F once a week to maintain a healthy aquarium environment.

If you are setting up a new aquarium, you may need to use BacterGen F more frequently, such as once a day, until the cycle is complete.

• 1 capful (5 ml) of BacterGen F for every 100 L (25 US gallons) of aquarium volume, daily for 2 weeks or longer, if necessary.

• Established aquariums for maintenance: 1 capful (5 ml) of BacterGen F for every 200 L (50 US gallons) of aquarium volume weekly, or 1 ml per day
